STEVEN MACDESSI – Managing Director

SSMProfileSteven Macdessi leads the Mainway team with over 20 years of project management experience in the property and construction industry – managing the delivery of projects across all stages of planning, development approval, design development and construction.

Steven’s experience originates from working in-house with Property Developers to deliver large scale complex projects. Steven understands the challenges associated with project management from the developer’s perspective and the importance of a “hands on” management approach to ensure all project objectives are successfully achieved with the best “bottom line” return to the stakeholders.

In 2006 Steven founded Mainway and has since provided project management consultancy services to property developers, asset owners and major construction companies in the leadership of a range of developments and construction works. Such vast experience adds value in the management of the design team, the construction team and makes Steven a respected member of the project team when applying such knowledge for the benefit of the project.

Steven is an Australian nationally accredited mediator and Adjudicator in the Security of Payment legislation.

Moses' specialty in Construction Project Management extends for over 15 years of local experiance having worked on both consultant and contractor sides. With 10 years client side project management success, Moses understands the needs of developers and business owners with attention to detail and hands on approach in managing the project team. Sectors include residential, civil, commercial, office & retail.

Allan Watson
Senior Project Manager
Allan’s 17 years of experience in Client side Project Management includes managing all aspects of the project life cycle from initial planning and business case, site assessment, design development, change management and construction management. Project experience ranges from development of greenfield sites, refurbishment of existing buildings, interior fitout and services upgrades. Sectors include residential, commercial, office, education, health and aged care.

Hugh has over 7 years experience in the local construction industry in both client side and on site project management. Hugh has a range of project and construction experience in the full project life-cycle including planning, design, approval and construction delivery. Hugh's application of knowledge in construction science makes him a valued and respected member of the project team to ensure contractors as well as designers meet project objectives.

Andrew Qiu
Project Manager
Andrew is a talented and proactive Assistant Project Manager with over 5 years hands on experieince in residiential and commercial client side project mamagement. Andrew's role is to assist the senior management in the day-to-day project administration, monitoring and tracking to ensure projects are progressing on time and on budget. Andrew has an active responsibility in ensuring that quality control systems and procedures are operating effectively for a project from concept stage to completion. Language skills include Mandarin.
